I am delighted to announce that we have an exciting new research position in learning analytics at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh. We seek a Research Associate to work with a multi-disciplinary team on the international grant project FLoRA. FLoRA stands for Facilitating Self-Regulated Learning with Personalised Scaffolds on Students’ own Regulation Activities. The project aims to further develop our understanding of self-regulated learning (SRL) using learning analytics and machine learning techniques. More specifically, machine learning techniques will be applied to measure SRL and design advanced scaffolding methods to support students’ SRL.
The post holder will be based in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. The Research Associate will also work with the partner organisations from Technical University of Munich (Germany) and Radboud University (Netherlands). This is an opportunity to develop research skills and gain research experience in a world-leading research establishment.
This full-time post is available immediately and fixed term until 31/11/2021. This post is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) of the UK.
Grade: UE07 (£33,199 - £39,609)
