His EPSRC funded post is available immediately on a two year fixed term basis to support the work of Dr. Yulei Wu.

The post
You will be working on an EPSRC project to do the research on resource optimisation in 5G networks.
About you
You will lead dissemination activities and will be expected to publish results in high quality international journals and conferences. You will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.
Applicants will:
- Possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study
- Be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in 5G, stochastic optimisation, and machine learning to work within established research programmes
- Be proficiency in MATLAB and Python
- Preferably have hands-on experience working with NS-2/NS-3/OMNeT++/OpenStack
