Two Clinical/Professional Faculty Opening in the area of IoT and Cybersecurity in CIT Department, Purdue University

Purdue University's Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for two clinical/professional faculty position at the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2019. The department's mission focuses primarily on teaching, educational scholarship through applied research, and industry/professional engagement. The first position is in the area of cybersecurity focusing on vulnerability analysis, malware analysis, and digital forensics. The second position is in the network engineering area with a focus on the Internet of Things (IOT), as well as routing, switching, network design, and system administration.
The selected candidate is expected to participate in both undergraduate and graduate education assignments. A minimum of an earned Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is required. Industry experience is preferred as well as prior teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the IT discipline.
