Tenure Track Group Leader in Data Science for Water Research

The Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (Eawag) opens a new position for a scientific group leader in data science.
Eawag is the aquatic research center within the ETH domain and located near Zurich, Switzerland. It conducts research, education and expert consulting to achieve the dual goals of meeting direct human needs for water and maintaining the function and integrity of aquatic ecosystems. The institute offers a stimulating research environment with strong collaboration between modelers and experimental and observational scientists from various domains.
The new group leader can build on and extend our collaborations with the Swiss Data Science Center at the technical universities ETH Zurich and EPFL Lausanne, the Swiss National Supercomputing Center in Lugano and many international partners.
We are looking for candidates with a strong track record in data science and an interest in applying their skills in the field of environmental research.
