The department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London has open faculty positions at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level (equivalent to Assistant/Associate Professors). Researchers that combine theoretical rigour with a strong interest in applying ML to real problems, particular in the areas of robotics, massive-scale sensing, computer vision and healthcare are very welcome to apply.
The successful applicant will be joining the Intelligent Systems and Networks group, a interdisciplinary group of faculty and researchers investigating the application of AI/ML in real systems ranging from assistive robotics, intelligent networks and smart grids, computer vision, transport, and healthcare, addressing fundamental issues in sensing and control, vision and audition, personalisation, communications, neuro-morphic systems, anomaly detection, and large scale cyber physical systems.
