Managed quality, efficiency, and yield of high volume production of electroluminescent lamps. Managed all process of documentation and procedures required for ISO9000 certification. Responsible for process improvement, development, planning and optimization of facility layout (roll to roll printing process). Managed prototype development until released to production. Projected and managed sources. Directed and installed class 10K Clean room and two new screen print production lines. Responsible for technical liaison with suppliers of raw materials and equipment to ensure efficient and trouble-free operations. Generated presentations in support of process development plans and status.
Accomplishments: Developed all materials for mass production, including conductive and dielectric materials for thick film technology. Developed printing, fabrication and assembly process, and improved planning and optimization of facility layout (roll to roll printing process). Designed new electroluminescent material for Motorola and Symbol Technology. Introduced preventive maintenance program to minimize production downtime. Created 2 patents.
