Postdoctoral positions at MIT Institute for Foundations of Data Science

The new MIT Institute for Foundations of Data Science (MIFODS), funded by the National Science Foundation TRIPODS program, is still accepting applications for two competitive postdoctoral fellowships. MIFODS (at mifods.mit.edu) is an interdisciplinary entity across the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL), and the Institute for Data Systems and Society (IDSS) at MIT. It provides a structured environment for exploring interdisciplinary research spanning Mathematics, Statistics, and Theoretical Computer Science.
Qualified candidates will have interest in the aforementioned three areas, with expertise in at least one of them. Duties include performing independent, interdisciplinary research in collaboration with any of the MIFODS members, as well as leading activities within MIFODS.
