Bloomsbury AI (http://bloomsbury.ai/) is a fully funded London startup created at UCL in 2015 by internationally recognised Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing experts. We want to build the knowledge worker’s superhero gear: technology that enables them to scale their expertise, make it accessible to others and help more people, more effectively. We see natural language understanding, reasoning and deep learning at the heart of this endeavour.
# Responsibilities
We are currently looking for research scientists and senior research scientist to join our team and push the state-of-the-art in:
- Machine Reading: methods that understand written text to answer questions about its explicit content, and generalise to a broad range of domains.
- Question Answering: methods that understand when different questions ask for the same answer.
- Reasoning: methods that can infer answers from text that are not explicitly stated.
# Requirements
As a successful candidate, you will have, as a minimum, an MSc in an ML/NLP related discipline, Python expertise, and experience in solving challenging technical NLP and ML problems in novel, sound and robust ways. A PhD degree in ML/NLP and publications in top-tier conferences are a big plus.
