Post-Doc on machine Learning and emotion recognition in the wild

The 3D SAM team of CRIStAL laboratory www.cristal.univ-lille.fr (UMR CNRS 9189) and IMT Lille Douai, France, is looking for a promising post-doc candidate to work on the field of emotion recognition in the wild.
The successful candidate is expected to have a PhD in the area of computer vision and pattern recognition. The candidate is expected to have experience working in the area of computer vision and deep learning. The post focuses on study and developing techniques at the state-of-the-art for emotion recognition in the wild. The appointee will be responsible for design, prototyping and experimentation of techniques for emotion recognition. Within the project, there will be ample opportunities to cooperate with some of the best groups in Europe and elsewhere.
Requested expertise - Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning, and a good knowledge of written and spoken English. The following expertise is especially considered:
• Publications in top computer vision journals and conferences.
• Very good English skills, written and spoken (B2 level appreciated).
• Strong mathematical skills
• Solid programming skills
