Machine Learning (Senior) Research Scientist Position at NEC Labs Europe, Heidelberg

We are looking for a (Senior) Research Scientist to join us and develop machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems. Our team brings supervised learning methods into solutions for transportation. We also look at other key applications of predictive analytics. Our work ranges from foundational research and IPR creation to prototype development for transfer to NEC products and services.
NEC Laboratories Europe is located in Heidelberg - one of Germany’s most beautiful and idyllic towns. The area offers a number of exciting cultural, entertainment, and outdoor activities. Top researchers from more than 20 countries develop, pilot and bring to reality computing, networking, security and data science technologies through open innovation.
Your role:
• You will develop unique machine learning technology to tackle real-world problems and markets on a global scale throughout multiple verticals
• You will co-create value with our customers in 160+ countries;
• You will cooperate with researchers in our 6 research centers around the world to advance the frontiers of applied data science
