NLP/ML Post-Doctoral Position and PhD Studentship at Université Paris

The RCLN Team (Natural Language Processing/Web Mining/Knowledge
Representation) at Université Paris 13 is recruiting one Postdoctoral
researcher and one PhD student on deep learning methods for Natural
Language Processing (NLP).
The postdoctoral researcher will be funded by the [ParSiTi] project for
12 months, with possibilities for extension. She or he will work on
structured prediction for Natural Language Understanding of social
media, with a focus on multitask learning and joint task decoding.
The PhD studentship is funded for 3 years (2017 → 2020). The hired
candidate will work on semantic parsing based on deep energy models with
structured attention.
In both cases, we expect candidates with the following backgrounds:
• proficient in NLP and Computational Linguistics (CL) eager to discover
deep learning, or
• proficient in machine learning with a *strong* motivation to learn NLP
and CL.
Both positions are located at [LIPN], Université Paris 13, member of the
University cluster [SPC] and [LABEX EFL].

The deadline for both positions is August 25, 2017. Please note that the
deadline is *strict* for the PhD studentship. For the postdoctoral
