PhD Position in the area of Graph Mining at CentraleSupelec, University of Paris-Saclay, France
Start date: October 1st, 2017
Duration: 3 years
Supervisors: Nikos Paragios and Fragkiskos Malliaros
We are inviting applications for a PhD position in the Center for Visual Computing at CentraleSupelec, University of Paris-Saclay in France, to work with Prof. Nikos Paragios and Dr. Fragkiskos Malliaros. The position is in the area of data mining and machine learning, with focus on graph mining and learning. Some of the possible research topics include graph clustering and community detection, representation learning in graphs, and their applications in social network mining and recommender systems.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent
- Strong background in machine learning and graph theory
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
- Good communication skills
