Postdoc on probabilistic modelling and computational systems biology in Helsinki

I am looking for a postdoc for developing methods for statistical inference of systems biology models and modelling the regulation of bacterial toxin production. The position based at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Helsinki.
A successful applicant should have a strong background in machine learning, probabilistic modelling or statistics. Experience on Bayesian methods and Gaussian processes is an advantage. Enthusiasm for multidisciplinary research combining machine learning/probabilistic modelling and a biological application as well as interaction with interdisciplinary collaborators is essential. Previous experience in biological applications is an advantage but not strictly necessary.
