I am looking for enthusiastic doctoral candidates to be involved in the Doctorate in Electronic Engineering and Computer Sciences. This Ph. D. program part of the Universidad de Guadalajara in Mexico. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mathematics, optimization and Matlab programming. Also, its interests should be related to the following research areas:
Evolutionary and swarm algorithms.
Hybridization of evolutionary and swarm algorithms.
Computational intelligence.
Application of evolutionary and swarm algorithms in:
Image processing.
Computer vision.
Renewable energies.
Machine learning.
System identification.
The Doctorate in Electronic Engineering and Computer Sciences has as its objective the training of scientific researchers capable of generating innovation in knowledge, identifying research problems and proposing solutions strategies. For this reason, the students' academic activity revolves around their doctoral research project, which will allow them to reach their objectives in the established time.
The Doctorate belongs to the PNPC, so the admitted students can apply for a full fellowship of CONACYT.
