The Department of Computing at Imperial College London invites applications for a full-time, faculty member at the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level (comparable to American tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professorships) who contribute to research and teaching, in particular in the areas of Machine Learning, AI, Optimization, Autonomous Systems.
Notwithstanding the above focus, exceptional candidates from any area of Computer Science are also encouraged to apply.
The Department of Computing is one of the largest Computing departments in the UK, and is at the forefront of academic research and teaching in Computer Science. You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a relevant field. You should be able to demonstrate an ability to establish outstanding independent research, to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in the Department and to supervise PhD students.
