Our group, Information Retrieval and Machine Learning (IRML) at Oracle Labs is expanding and we’re currently hiring for Machine Learning Research, Data Science, NLP and ML engineering positions. Note that we also offer summer internships.
About IRML:
The group is tasked with developing core Information Retrieval, statistical Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning technologies in order to help solve complex and challenging business problems. Our current focus is in the areas of information extraction, structured prediction, probabilistic programming, topic models, causal inference, and deep learning. We’re also interested in areas such as visualization, interpretable models, and privacy. Some of our recent projects include classification, search relevance, feature selection, Bayesian inference, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, entity linking, and product attribute extraction. We publish our research at top conferences and collaborate with academia.
Oracle offers a huge variety of data-intensive enterprise applications and cloud solutions. Our customer base includes a wide range of industry verticals, such as retail, finance, healthcare, hospitality and so on. Our cloud offerings include social media monitoring platform and data as a service, to name a few. Our group actively collaborates with these product groups, and your work can have a huge impact on these business offerings.
We're looking for people to join our team for full-time positions and summer internships. Most of these positions are based in Burlington, MA, with a few openings in Boulder, CO.
