Tenure-Track Professor Position in the Field of Applied Machine Learning at The Department of Computer Science and Operations Research

The Department of Computer Science and Operations Research is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track professor position at all ranks in areas related to machine learning and its applications (e.g., natural language, medicine, perception, recommendation systems, data mining).
? Responsibilities
The appointed candidate will be expected to teach at all three levels of the curriculum, supervise graduate students, engage in state-of-the-art research, publish at the highest international level, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the University.
? Requirements
? Ph.D. in Computer Science or in a related field.
? An excellent publication record illustrating ability to publish in the best forums.
? Expertise in one or more of the above-mentioned areas related to applied machine learning. Knowledge in optimization or in deep learning is considered an asset.
? Teaching and/or supervision experience.
? Proficiency in French within a reasonable period of time*.
