Description

Fast-Growing MIT Spinoff Needs Statistical Analyst/Data Scientist
The good news in healthcare in the past fifty years has been the
reduction in mortality from a wide range of causes: more people are
living significantly longer. The less good news is that more people
are living long enough to be susceptible to cognitive decline in
various forms, as for example, Alzheimer's Disease. This is issue that
looms large for the 600,000,000 people worldwide over the age of 65, a
number slated to grow significantly in the years to come. In the US
alone, care for AD patients costs more than $200,000,000,000/year, an
amount with the potential to exceed one trillion dollars per year by
2050.
