External researcher at Moscow Higher School of Economics (HSE)

Moscow Higher School of Economics (HSE) is looking for an international partner as external researcher for creating international lab of Bayesian methods and Deep learning. The core of the lab is Bayesian methods research group (http://bayesgroup.ru) led by prof. Dmitry Vetrov. International lab is a special structural unit in HSE, which has quite high budget allocated for developing strategic research directions.
We ask for applications from candidates with experience of developing/working with deep neural networks and/or probabilistic Bayesian models and/or stochastic optimization algorithms. The successful applicant should have to spend 45 working days PER YEAR in Russia during 3 years. It is possible to make several trips during a year. The approximate salary is 25 000 USD/per year for 45 working days.
Requirements to candidates:
- Position of assistant professor or higher at own university
- h-index 6 or higher according to google scholar
- the number of citations 400 or higher according to google scholar
Moscow Higher School of Economics (HSE http://hse.ru) is one of the leading universities in Russia. The Faculty of Computer Science in HSE has been created with the support of Yandex a couple of years ago but already became on the top in IT (http://cs.hse.ru).
