The SDSU Computer Science Department has 12 tenure-track faculty and 3 lecturers (http://cs.sdsu.edu/). The department is on an upward trajectory with annual research expenditures growing to an average of $1M/year over the last three years. Research strengths include machine learning, robotics, bioacoustics, storage systems, wireless networks, bioinformatics, and medical informatics. The Department offers BS and MS degrees in Computer Science to around 600 undergraduate students and 170 graduate students.
