Post Doc position: Security Risk Modeling of Cloud Computing at Qatar University

The candidate is expected to work on a funded project in the area of “Security Risk Modeling and Assessment of Cloud Computing”
jointly awarded to Qatar University (Qatar) and the University of Canterbury (New Zealand).
The project is funded by Qatar National Research Fund (http://www.qnrf.org/) of its flagship National Priorities Research Program (NPRP).
The position is a full time, located in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Engineering at Qatar University.
The position does not require any teaching responsibilities.
The candidate will closely collaborate with the Cyber Security Group in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Canterbury.
The position is initially for three years, there is a possibility to extend at least six more months.

Qualifications:
The candidate must hold a PhD Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar with a specialization in Cyber Security for Cloud Computing.
Furthermore, a strong publication record in international journals and conferences is required.
The candidate must have solid research experience in security of Cloud computing, security risk modeling and assessment.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently under minimum supervision, and write quality journal papers.
The candidate should have excellent skills in spoken and written English.
