The School of Mechanical, Aerospace and, Information Engineering
(Department of Aerospace and Software Engineering), Gyeongsang
National University, South Korea is a leading research centre in
Distributed Computing, Systems Software, Real-Time Systems and
Wireless Networks along with its applications to Aerospace. The
department is carrying out government funded research program
(BK21plus project) in the aforesaid areas.
The department invites applications for Doctoral positions (PhD
studentships) in Computer Science and Engineering/Informatics. The

- Salary : Approximately USD 1000 per month (KRW 9,00000 ? 10,00000
appx.), along with applicable tax regulation and other governmental

- Educational qualifications : Applicant must have awarded Master of
Engineering/Master of Science in Computer Science/Information
Technology/Computer Engineering from a recognized university. He/she
should be interested in Distributed Computing/Systems, Operating
Systems and, Mobile Computing.
- Duration : The expected duration is 3 years for completion of PhD
based on continuation of funding. However, it can be extended based on
conditions and availability.
