We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate in Bayesian Computational Methods with a strong interest in both developing new Bayesian models and translating them into new software tools. You will become part of a large UK/USA initiative, funded jointly by the US National Science Foundation and the BBSRC, for developing next-generation approaches for discovery and quantification of biological signals in mass spectrometry data. You will work closely with Dr Andrew Dowsey in Liverpool, Prof Magnus Rattray in Manchester and Prof Jeffrey S Morris in The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston. There will be an opportunity for a placement in Prof Morris’ lab during the project.
You should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in computer science, statistics or a related subject and have research experience in Bayesian methods.
