As a member of IBM Watson Health you will be part of technical teams that:
? Develop analytics platforms for IBM’s new Healthcare Cloud
? Develop new analytics products on the IBM Health cloud
? Develop key analytics components to support a marketplace for external companies to develop solutions on the IBM Health cloud
Successful candidates will possess the following key attributes:
? Strong technical skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, NLP and information extraction.
? Experience as data scientist in teams developing commercial analytics products in an agile environment
? Comfortable interacting with clinicians and financial users.
? Comfortable with hands on coding (Java, C++, Python, Perl, R), and prototyping full solutions
? Experience developing commercial solutions using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, Kafka, Storm, Cassandra, Neo4j etc
? Enjoy learning new technologies
Ideal candidates will have the following attributes:
? Experience developing Health IT software applications
? Previous experience with major health IT standards including ICD, CPT, HL7, SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm etc,.
. Comfortable with uncertainty, starting with vague high-level requirements.
. A strong history of product contributions leading to publications in leading journals & conferences such as ICML, NIPS, KDD, AISTATS, etc.
