Keeping up with the company growth and worldwide deployments, Feedzai is looking for Machine Learning Research Engineers to join our award-winning team. We are looking for data scientists with as much skill as passion and large amounts of both! Come and help us disrupt the hot hot market of digital payments and online fraud prevention!
Responsibilities and work
===
-Work in thorny real-world fraud detection problems, dealing with data pre-processing, data cleaning, feature engineering, and model development.
-Justify findings to others, keep up with the state-of-the-art.
-Relaxed working environment.
Required
===
-Expert knowledge of supervised ML (classification algorithms is preferred). Knowledge in link analysis, NLP, or computer vision also valued.
-At least one year of experience in training and testing models with R, Weka, scikit-learn, Matlab or other related tools.
-Curiosity to use emerging tools (Spark, Scala, Cassandra, etc) with freedom to choose others.
-Good programming skills.
-Analytical mind, ability to see the big picture.
-Optimism, self-motivated, and team-player.
Preferable
===
-Experience with rare events, highly unbalanced datasets/classes.
-Experience with high performance or real-time scoring.
-Experience in handling large datasets (> tens of GBs) or working with Hadoop, Spark and related tools.
-MSc/PhD valued.
