Department of Materials Science & Engineering at Jimma University was established with a unique academic structure inspired by the American higher education system. The Department is research-oriented with two main themes: performing world-class cutting-edge research, and practical projects to address local needs.
To expand the department programs, we hire faculty members at all ranks (assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor).
Required Qualifications
? PhD in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a closely related discipline.
? Strong teaching experiences at both undergraduate and graduate level.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English).
? Exceptional ability for contributing to cutting-edge research and writing research articles.
? Ability to work well in a dynamic and collaborative research environment.
