Data Analytics Research Scientist

Requirements:
- U.S Citizens
- Doctoral Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or Master's degree with sufficient experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics with a focus on one or more of the following areas: machine learning, information extraction, predictive analytics. Of particular interest is experience with complex research projects in data analytics.
- Intimate knowledge of tools and languages used for constructing data analytics solutions, including programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, FORTRAN, R), scripting (e.g., Perl, Python), data storage and processing platforms (e.g., Hadoop, MongoDB, SQL) and algorithms for supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering and prediction, including open source analytics tools and libraries
- Experience implementing solutions that efficiently handle large data sets - Exposure to the process of generating business in the area of data analytics. Of particular interest is experience generating business with government research agencies and/or the financial, telecommunications, or healthcare industries.
- Strong organization skills, with the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new subject matter areas
