Postdoctoral Associate at Rutgers University

A postdoctoral associate position is available for the development of genome based influenza vaccine selection methods using machine learning.
You will work on research problems related to statistical modeling in influenza vaccine selection and develop efficient software tools. You are also encouraged to study more general research topics of applying machine learning in bioinformatics. This position will be jointly supervised by professor Tong Zhang in the Statistics Department at Rutgers University and professor Henry Wan at Mississippi State University.
Position Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science or a related field, with solid programming skills and research experience in statistical machine learning.
