The Data Science team at FiscalNote is seeking Data Scientists at different experience levels to dig deep into interesting, complex, and oftentimes noisy data and come up with valuable insights. Our platforms analyze unstructured data relating to government actions in the legislative and regulatory space by solving tough problems at the intersection of machine learning and natural language processing, bringing an unprecedented level of data-based analysis and insight to our customers. At the core of that are our data scientists - researching, designing, implementing, and deploying innovative solutions to a wide range of problems, such as predicting government actions, analyzing relevance, sentiment, and impact of documents, and modeling user behavior. Because we’re constantly identifying and discovering newer and more complex problems, we’re on the lookout for data scientists who thrive in environments catering to solving immediate problems by day, and shoot-for-the-moon risk taking by night.
