Today, electronic media is the most extensive and relevant fields of culture, which presents traditional and new arts, professional and amateur creations, news, entertainments, and a variety of options for advertising and interactive communication. In a rapidly changing world, the whole of human information finds its new existence in electronic broadcasting, digital forms and limitless cyberspace. That applies to both science and art of music.
International scientific e-journal Mediamusic® is dedicated not only to the music in the usual sense of the word, but the all culture of sound in the modern media. As an integral part of media-culture (TV, radio, movies, the Internet, mobile content) sound has a huge impact on the audience, several times more than the visual, and therefore it is an essential factor in the formation of national and universal spiritual values.
Electronic scientific magazine Mediamusic® is media of the new generation, which is designed to combine scientific knowledge, the electronic mass-media and modern ways of incarnation of the digital information. Unlike most scientific journals, including electronic (which are static and not interactive), the multimedia structure of Mediamusic implies not for only the written texts, but also graphics, audio, video and other multimedia.
We are open to new music media-culture and new science about it.
