About the department: Data Intelligence and Application
Data Intellgence and Application (DIA) is Big Data department of 58, responsible for all work related to constructing Big Data software platforms and applications. It is currently building systems and products of intelligence and data analytics including Recommender Systems and Intelligent Pushing Systems. We impact almost all product series across 58 including Jobs, Housing, and Used Goods.
We’ve already been joined by some excllent and bright minds from famous China Internet companies like Baidu, Sogou and Renren. We also have experts from returnees...We’re looking for talented data mining engineers and researchers that have applied experience in the fields of Machine Learning and Recommender System to join us.
As an engineer or researcher in DIA, you work on a small team, collaborating closely with other product teams and you’re able to switch projects as our fast-paced business grows and evolves. We need our engineers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems. You’ll also get a chance to keep touch with Machine Learning and Recommender System experts across China Internet.

Responsibilities
Participate in R&D work in data mining and machine learning applications.
Develop solutions for real world, large scale problems.
Refining our recommeder system and intelligent pushing system to provide better results.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related technical field.
Strong background in Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision.
Experience coding in C, C++, Java, or Python.
Strong background in Machine Learning or Data Mining.
